Platja
d'Aro Located in the
middle of the Costa Brava in Catalonia, Spain. It is formed from two
parts: Castell d'Aro, the old village 3 km inland built around a medieval
castle and a fortified church on the road from Platja d'Aro to Santa
Cristina d'Aro and Platja d'Aro a small fishing village on the road
from Palamós to SantFeliu the Guíxols located on a 2 km wide beach. It is now a popular resort with mostly
Catalans and villa owners from northern Europe.
Here you find the urbanization Mas
Nou with a championship golf course whitch offers spectacular views
over the coast. The "Camí de Ronda" is a footpath along the
coast, an old "robber route" which connects the beautiful
bays and beaches.
